We wanted to understand the weekly flood of news, technology, and world events a little more deeply. Reading only the headline and the body always left something missing, and we came to see that the context that actually matters sits in the footnotes everyone skips. 우리는 매주 쏟아지는 뉴스와 기술, 세상의 현상을 조금 더 깊이 이해하고 싶었습니다. 헤드라인과 본문만 읽고 나면 늘 무언가 빠진 듯한 느낌이 남았고, 정작 중요한 맥락은 모두가 그냥 넘기는 각주 속에 있다는 걸 알게 됐습니다.

So we started digging into those footnotes to teach ourselves. These are not pieces meant to show off; they are notes we wrote to understand things properly. 그래서 우리 스스로 공부하기 위해 그 각주를 파기 시작했습니다. 남에게 보여주려는 글이 아니라, 우리가 제대로 이해하려고 정리한 기록입니다.

We care more about the process of digging to the end than about grand conclusions. For now, this is two people’s study notes. 거창한 결론보다 끝까지 파고든 과정을 담습니다. 이곳은 아직, 두 사람의 공부 노트입니다.
